About the event

Speaker: Emily Ambrose, Owner of Engage Coaching & Consulting

For outdoor professionals, effective communication and feedback are critical for ensuring safety. During a crisis, questions like "Who is my Incident Commander?" and "What’s the patient’s status?" are paramount. Yet, outside of emergencies, feedback remains crucial for fostering a culture of belonging within your team.

This webinar and discussion will explore how the brain processes feedback and the various methods of giving and receiving it. Topics will include “course correction” and “course continuation,” along with the importance of time, place, and manner in delivering feedback. We will also delve into “pushing-feedback” versus “pulling-feedback.”

Additionally, we’ll link these concepts to the ally action continuum, illustrating how feedback supports inclusion efforts. Whether you’re looking to refine your skills or prepare for a difficult conversation, this session offers valuable insights to navigate challenging waters more smoothly. Join us to enhance your feedback techniques and strengthen your team dynamics.
